If we love, we grieve. That is the pact we make when we allow our hearts to become intertwined with another.
Grief and love are both a gift and a sacrifice. In equal measure, they reveal the power we share with those who make us, cherish us, empower us and show us the way.
Death is only the end if we no longer carry their love, their life and their memory with us.
Grief is the love we still hold, the love we still need to express, to share and to be comforted by. It remains with us until it is time for those we love to grieve for us.
Today, we come together to carry that love, share those memories and celebrate the life of Barbara.
